Deputies with the Livingston County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a multiple-vehicle injury crash at the intersection of E Grand River and Owosso Road in Howell Township.Ī preliminary investigation has revealed that a 2011 Mercedes Benz SUV was traveling south on Owosso Road and failed to yield at the intersection. The Facebook page for Devon Howell and the Instagram profile for “ygtank114x” were reviewed, and it was confirmed that the photos appeared to be the same person.PennDot photo and searches of CashApp, Facebook, and Instagram all matched information for Devon Howell. This matches the name that is in his Facebook profile.
Using Instagram, the victim was able to identify “ygtank114x” as Devon Howell. The victim attempted to get information about what was going on without success, and Howell blocked them on Instagram.
The items were to be delivered to the new store location on May 9, 2023. Through the financial application “CashApp,” the victim sent $2,442 to Howell to purchase items. The victim asked if he could get them items, including shoes and other items to help start a business. On April 24, 2023, the victim sent an Instagram message to a user named “ygtank114x” who had posted numerous videos on his Facebook Profile advertising his ability to get good deals on items. Theft By Deception Warrant, July 7, 2023, 400 block of Candlewyck Rd (MT) – Devon Kiraeh Howell, M/34, of York, PA, was charged with the above offense following a meeting with the victim in reference to fraud.
